The UV-curing inkjet printing system brings additional advantages compared with other digital inkjet systems.One of these advantages is the instant drying, which occurs in the ink curing step. Only 0.2 second, which is independent of the printing speed and makes work faster. UV ink is also applicable on more media than water based inks or solvent based inks, enlarges the range of media that can be used without pretreatment. The durability of the cured ink doesn’t need the laminating step to protect the picture surface, and also a kind of environmental protection. It is well known that cured presswork can be placed outdoor for 2 to 3 years. The solvent flatbed printer can print on flat and hard media without UV-curing function, but also enlarge the range of media; so the UV curing inkjet printer and flatbed inkjet printer will be new development trend.
